Basically the game started pretty good for the Pens as they got an early Power Play and quickly went ahead 1-0. Detroit answered back before the end of the first and we went into intermission even 1-1. The second didn't start the way we had hopped as we quickly fell down 2-1. This however, with some penalties proved to be a spark. Pittsburgh almost killed off one penalty and committed another. Detroit had to be feeling pretty good but then with about a minute to go in the second minor, Jordan Staal gets the puck SH and made them pay as he beat Osgood. The Pens finished killing the penalty and quickly went on the attack as Malkin and Crosby teamed up to go ahead 3-2. Then a few minutes later they would add that important insurance marker, as Tyler Kennedy finishes a nice tic-tac-toe play. Although many chances came for both teams, neither could get one in. End result 4-2 final score. Detroit is in some trouble as they have now lost momentum but they are a good team and won't role over. Game 5 will be a much bigger war. Datsyuk will most likely return for this one as it is a must win. Pittsburgh did some great things in these last two games and has showed this is not the same team as last year. They are confident heading into game 5 but don't think that means they arn't ready. They too will come with desperation and be ready for a war.
