| | Christmas at Baker's MansionDecember 5, 2008 - Emily Dimov-GottshallLast year we went to Baker's Mansion for their annual Christmas Tour. We loved it! It was a real treat for all of us, including my little ones. We got a little tour and then we walked through the rooms...we admired the people dressed in period clothing, seeing the wonderfully decorated rooms and getting a taste of what Christmas may have been like in the Victorian era.
Of course, for my kids, the real treat was Santa and cookies in the kitchen. We had a great time learning about various organizations in the area that we had never heard about and getting a feel for Victorian tastes mingled with a variety of Holiday themed ornament collections.
This year, they've got live music starting on December 6th & 7th as well as December 13th & 14th. You can check out their info at their website.
Dolls of various time periods were located throughout the 2nd floor
